The service and this agreement
These Terms govern opportunityintel.top and its LaunchCut editing tools, account workspace, examples and related services (the “Service”). LaunchCut is operated by matt. Contact: matt1232026@gmail.com.
Read these Terms before creating an account or using the editing tools. By choosing to use the Service after being presented with these Terms, you agree to them. If you act for an organization, you must have authority to bind it. The Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled; it is a notice, not blanket consent to every possible use of data. Mandatory rights under applicable law remain unaffected.
Eligibility and your account
The Service is intended for adults aged 18 or older with capacity to enter into this agreement. Use an email address or GitHub account that you control. Do not impersonate another person or create accounts to evade restrictions.
Email sign-in uses a temporary code rather than a LaunchCut password. Keep codes and sessions private, secure your email and GitHub account, and sign out on shared devices. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity you authorize; this does not remove our responsibility for security failures for which we are legally liable.
What the early preview provides
Creative Studio and the earlier Impact tools let you select local recordings, arrange scenes, edit copy, preview and export a video on your device. Examples combine curated footage, artwork and music. They illustrate creative possibilities; they do not mean that every recording will automatically produce an equivalent result.
Creative Studio offers optional AI content analysis, storyboard writing and one generated campaign image through OpenAI; final animation and MP4 encoding run locally. One-time credit purchases are provided through Waffo. AI voice services are not enabled. Google sign-in is not enabled. Features marked unavailable, pending or preview are not promises of delivery. We may improve or withdraw preview features, while respecting existing paid commitments if paid services are later introduced.
Local editing, storage and export
Choosing a file in Creative Studio or Impact gives your browser access to that file for the edit. It does not upload the recording to our server. Preview and encoding use your device, and exports are downloaded to your device. Draft settings, text, scene timings and limited file metadata may remain in browser storage. The recording itself is not saved in that draft; you may need to select it again. The works page keeps generated works and browser-saved MP4 for 24 hours after creation; clearing browser data may remove them earlier. Use the same device and browser to download a saved MP4.
Export speed and support depend on your browser, hardware, available memory and media codecs. Keep the page open during export and retain your source files and downloaded results. Clearing browser storage, private browsing, changing devices or losing a local file may make a draft unrecoverable. The Service is not a backup service.
Optional AI creation
AI creation is optional and requires a separate confirmation of the selected keyframes, OpenAI processing and the displayed charge: Standard 30 credits or Enhanced 60 credits. Enhanced adds one planned five-second video through Pixstag, when available for your account, with a separate data-processing confirmation. It includes app-content analysis, a new storyboard and one generated campaign image. Editing, MP4 exports and downloads are included, with no additional credit charge. Each new creation uses the selected version’s displayed credit charge. Failed generation returns the reserved AI credit; interrupted Standard tasks expire after 10 minutes and Enhanced tasks after 20 minutes. Daily limits are shown when reached and include failed attempts. Completed generation is charged even if you do not export or prefer a different creative direction.
The full recording and final MP4 remain on your device. Generated text and images may be inaccurate; review product claims, imagery and framing before publishing. AI-generated artwork is illustrative and is not proof of an app feature or a real product result. Backend results are recoverable for up to 24 hours; download your MP4 within 24 hours after creation completes. Website works, generated content and browser-saved MP4 become unavailable at the deadline. Expired backend content is deleted during cleanup; browser cleanup runs while the website is open or when it is next visited. Downloaded files on your device are not deleted. The Privacy Policy explains the data sent and provider retention.
Underlying models: analysis and storyboard writing use OpenAI GPT-6.1 Sol (gpt-6.1-sol); Enhanced video uses Pixstag’s MiniMax-H3 (MiniMax-H3); campaign artwork uses OpenAI GPT Image (gpt-image-2.5-flare); content checks use omni-moderation-latest. LaunchCut is independently operated and is not an official OpenAI product. Model changes will be reflected in this disclosure.
Account workspace and future cloud or AI features
When you sign in and save a project to the account workspace, the project information you submit is processed on our backend. This is separate from a local studio draft. Cloud media upload and rendering are not currently offered in the local studios.
If a cloud upload or external AI feature is introduced, its interface must explain what will be sent, the provider, price and retention before use. These Terms do not authorize an undisclosed upload. Additional feature terms or required consent may apply, and the Privacy Policy will be updated where the processing changes. Do not rely on a feature until it is expressly available.
Your content and permissions
You retain rights in recordings, screenshots, product names, logos, scripts, images and other material you supply. You must have the rights and permissions needed to edit, combine and publish that material, including music licenses, app interface rights and consent from people shown or heard. Remove credentials, payment details and private information before selecting a recording.
For content you actually submit to our backend or support, you give us a limited, non-exclusive permission to process, copy and display it only as needed to deliver the requested service, provide support and meet legal obligations. Local processing does not give us possession of your local recording. We do not obtain ownership of your material, and this permission does not allow us to publish it in marketing or use it to train AI models. Public use requires separate permission.
If you believe content on the Service infringes your rights, contact matt1232026@gmail.com with the relevant URL, a description of your rights and sufficient information to assess the request. We may remove disputed content while investigating and allow the relevant user to respond.
Exports, examples and third-party assets
Subject to these Terms and the rights in included materials, you may use your own exported videos for personal or commercial promotion. We claim no ownership of your original footage, logo or copy. An export does not grant rights in third-party music, fonts, photos, trademarks or app content that you did not already have.
Website examples and campaign artwork are provided for viewing and testing the editor. Do not assume that sample footage, portraits, product branding or music is licensed for an unrelated commercial campaign. Use your own cleared materials before publishing. LaunchCut software, layout, templates and brand remain protected; using the Service does not grant a right to resell our asset library or redistribute the software.
Acceptable use
This Acceptable Use Policy applies to recordings, selected frames, prompts, generated text and images, exports, and use of LaunchCut. You must have the rights and permissions needed for your material and advertising claims.
Do not request, generate, submit or distribute any of the following through the Service:
- Pornography / NSFW: sexually explicit content, sexual services, non-consensual intimate imagery or exploitative sexual material.
- Violence / gore: graphic injury, torture, glorification or incitement of violence, or instructions to cause harm.
- Hate speech: content that attacks, dehumanizes, threatens or promotes discrimination against protected groups.
- Child-unsafe content (CSAM): child sexual exploitation or abuse material, sexualization of minors, or other content that endangers children. Do not send known or suspected CSAM to us or to an AI provider.
- Deepfakes / impersonation: deceptive imitation of a real person, unauthorized face or voice substitution, false endorsements, or misleading depictions of public figures.
- Copyright / trademark infringement: unauthorized copying of protected characters, media, logos or brands, counterfeit advertising, or misuse of another person’s likeness. Authorized use of your own app, brand and licensed assets is allowed.
Do not violate privacy, make fraudulent product claims, upload malware, probe other accounts, bypass authentication, interfere with the Service, misuse verification emails or abuse free credits through automated accounts. Do not remove notices required by law or an asset license.
Content moderation
Before AI generation, we check the submitted product description and selected keyframes using request rules and OpenAI content moderation. We also check the generated storyboard before image generation, and generated text and imagery before releasing a result. Rejected content is not released. If a required check is unavailable, the task stops; failed tasks return the reserved credit. Moderation is fallible and does not verify all intellectual-property rights, consent or advertising claims. It does not inspect your complete local recording or subsequent local edits, so you must review your final video before publishing.
We review request rules when investigating reports and when provider guidance changes. Classification records, policy version, task ID and decision timestamps may be retained for up to 90 days for investigation and appeals; prompts and keyframe images are not copied into these records. Public examples are curated by the operator; user works are not automatically published in a public gallery.
Reporting and appeals
Report violating content or appeal an incorrect block by emailing matt1232026@gmail.com with the task ID or public URL, the concern and any rights or consent information relevant to the report. Do not attach illegal material, sensitive identity documents or known or suspected CSAM. We review reports, may request limited supporting information, investigate available records, and communicate the outcome where lawful and practical. Reports and review correspondence follow the support-retention period in our Privacy Policy.
Enforcement
Depending on the severity and evidence, we may refuse generation, restrict service access, remove content hosted by us or suspend an account under these Terms, and comply with lawful reporting obligations. We cannot remotely remove a downloaded file or a recording that remains on your device. We aim to explain a restriction and allow an appeal where lawful and practical; mandatory refund and consumer rights remain unaffected.
Prices, credits and payment
Sign-in is required to use the editing studios. Manual editing and previews are free. Standard creation uses 30 credits for analysis, a storyboard and one image; Enhanced uses 60 credits and additionally includes one five-second generated video shot, with a film duration up to 20 seconds; editing, MP4 export and repeated download use no additional credits. A new AI creation is a new charge. AI credit is reserved before creation, confirmed on success and returned on failure. Purchased credits do not expire and are tied to your account.
One-time packs are 100 credits for USD 10, 200 for USD 20, 500 for USD 50, 1,100 for USD 100, and 2,400 for USD 200, before applicable tax shown at checkout. There is no automatic renewal. Real purchases are available only when live checkout is enabled. The current recharge status is shown on the pricing and account pages. A checkout expressly labeled test mode collects no real money and grants no real paid entitlement; do not enter real card credentials in a test checkout.
The selected provider, Dodo Payments or Waffo Pancake, may act as merchant of record; the selected provider’s buyer terms and receipt identify the seller of that transaction. LaunchCut remains responsible for the application service. Credits are service entitlements, not money, an investment or a transferable asset. They have no cash value except an applicable refund right. A return-page URL or payment screenshot does not prove payment; we grant purchased credits after verifying a signed payment notification. Promotional credits may have separate clearly stated conditions.
Refunds, failures and cancellations
This section applies to one-time credit purchases. Refund requests are reviewed by support. Contact matt1232026@gmail.com with your account identifier, order ID and a description of the issue. Never email full card details. We aim to acknowledge requests within 3 business days and provide an outcome within 14 days, or explain any investigation that needs longer.
You may request a refund for the unused portion of a one-time credit purchase within 14 days of purchase. Credits already used to deliver a successful export or AI campaign are ordinarily excluded from that voluntary refund, except where the service is defective, materially misdescribed, charged twice or a refund is required by law. New local exports do not consume credits. Any previously charged export reservation that fails, is canceled or times out retains its original refund protection. If the connection is interrupted, check your account; unfinished reservations are released after expiry. A reservation normally expires after 30 minutes without a heartbeat and is capped at four hours. Server renders that fail also restore the relevant credit. A completed export or AI generation cannot be canceled to recover the credit. Failed AI generations return their reserved credit; interrupted Standard tasks expire after 10 minutes and Enhanced tasks after 20 minutes. Generation limits apply to all attempts, including failures.
Credits corresponding to a confirmed purchase refund are removed from the account. If those credits were already used, the balance may become negative and new AI creation is unavailable until the balance is restored. Approved refunds are returned through the original payment route, subject to the payment provider’s processing time. Subscription cancellation, if subscriptions are introduced, must stop future renewals according to the terms shown at checkout. Nothing here waives statutory cancellation, cooling-off, refund or consumer rights. Any legally required acknowledgment for immediate digital delivery must be obtained separately before relying on it.
Review before you publish
You are responsible for reviewing the final edit, spelling, product claims, captions, visual framing, music rights and personal information before publishing. The Service does not guarantee views, downloads, revenue, platform approval or any marketing result.
Automated edits and AI output may be inaccurate or unsuitable. A generated result does not prove that it is original or free of third-party rights. LaunchCut is not a medical, legal or financial advice service. Do not present an app demonstration or illustrative nutritional figure as verified professional advice.
Third-party services
Hosting, sign-in, verification emails and any expressly available checkout rely on third parties. Their terms and privacy notices apply to your direct relationship with them. The current providers and data flows are described in the Privacy Policy. External links and platform names do not imply sponsorship or affiliation.
We do not publish an export to a social platform on your behalf in the current preview. When you choose to publish elsewhere, you must follow that platform’s requirements, advertising rules and licensing terms.
Availability and responsibility
We take reasonable care in operating the Service, but the early preview may contain errors, interruptions or incompatible browser features. We do not promise uninterrupted operation, permanent storage or a particular export speed. Keep a separate copy of important material.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable or for a problem caused solely by your device, an unauthorized third party or material you supplied. This does not exclude liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, a breach of legally required data-protection duties, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Statutory quality standards, remedies and consumer rights continue to apply.
Stopping use, suspension and account closure
You may stop using the Service at any time. To close an account, request deletion or challenge a restriction, email matt1232026@gmail.com from an address associated with your account where possible. We may ask for proportionate identity verification. There is currently no automated account-deletion button. Local drafts must be removed through your browser; deleting an account does not erase files already downloaded to your device.
We may suspend access for a serious breach, security risk or legal obligation, using a proportionate response. If we permanently discontinue a paid service, we will provide reasonable notice where possible and an appropriate remedy for undelivered prepaid services. Account closure does not remove necessary transaction records, mandatory legal retention or rights that have already accrued. The Privacy Policy explains retention and deletion.
Changes, language and general terms
We will display the effective date of a revised agreement. A material change affecting an account or a paid commitment will be highlighted in the Service or communicated using available account contact details before it applies, except where an urgent legal or security reason requires immediate action. We will obtain a new acceptance where required. Revised terms do not automatically rewrite an earlier completed purchase.
English and Chinese versions are provided with the same intended meaning. If a translation differs, we will clarify it without reducing mandatory rights under the law that applies to you. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. Failure to enforce a provision immediately is not a waiver of it. These Terms and expressly accepted feature terms form the agreement for the Service.
