Fit for interface evidence; fill for a deliberate detail
An app screen often needs its navigation, result and action visible together. Start with fit for a complete demonstration. Use fill only when the removed area is unimportant, or make a separate close-up after showing the complete screen. The calculator measures rectangular geometry, not the importance of the content.
Choose composition before platform polish
A tall recording can sit inside a square composition with copy beside it. You do not need to crop the interface to fill every pixel. The available ratios are planning formats, not a claim about current platform upload limits or guaranteed safe zones. Check the destination preview before publishing.
