LaunchCut accepts PNG, JPG and WebP app screenshots, up to 15 images and 10 MB each. The screenshots can become a promotional film up to 20 seconds, with a storyboard, on-screen copy and an MP4 export.
Choose screens that prove one benefit
Start with the screen that makes the result obvious. Add the action or input that explains how it happens, then finish with a useful outcome. A login screen, permission prompt or subscription page rarely helps tell that story. Three clear states can say more than fifteen unrelated menus.
Sequence the experience before adding motion
Use the screenshot picker to add, remove and reorder images. Screenshots show states; they do not prove a tap, animation or transition happened. Describe only the actions your product really supports, and review AI-written claims before exporting. Keep complete photos, charts and important interface labels inside the composition.
Give the film somewhere to go
Choose TikTok, Instagram, Reddit or X before creation so the story and accompanying post have one destination. Standard creation uses 30 credits; Enhanced uses 60 and adds a planned five-second generated shot. Editing, export and downloads are included. Publish the downloaded file yourself.

Questions before you start
Do I need a recording as well?
No. Switch from Recording to App screenshots in the studio. One to fifteen valid images are sufficient; a recording is an alternative source.
Will screenshots become a working app demonstration?
They remain still source screens in a motion composition. A screenshot alone does not establish an actual interaction. Use a recording when a gesture or live state change is central to the story.
